The Salvation Army in Springfield Illinois is facilitated to provide assistance and care to men dealing with problems to help them regain the ability to reenter the normality of society and the ability to provide for themselves. The Salvation army offers housing, work, and therapy within a spiritual environment and has impacted a countless number of men.
To make way for the new railway, the city of Springfield was planning on forcing the center to sell their land and relocated. This video was planned, created, and distributed to show the people of Springfield why the center needed their help. Many had not seen what goes on inside the center and the director wanted to change this.
